Alejandra Olvera is a Mexican screenwriter with experience in film and television. She has fifteen years of experience in writing and developing projects for Amazon Prime, Argos, BTF Media, Sony Pictures Television, Televisa and TV Azteca.
She graduated from the Iberoamerican University, where she studied Communication. She started her career writing Eugenio Derbez’s team. From that moment on, she has developed several television projects, among which: “Terminals”, “Camelia, la Tejana”, “El octavo mandamiento”, “Fortuna”, “Drenaje profundo”, “Sesame Street”, “Yago” And “La Doña “, a bioserie inspired by the life of María Félix, where she was also co-head of writers.
She debuted in film co-writing with “Tiempos Felices”, premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival and winner of the best Ibero-American film at the Santa Bárbara Festival. “Solteras”, her next film, is about to premiere in June 2019.
She is currently writing a comedy series for Amazon Prime and Viacom.
